Weissmann, Maria Luise

Maria Luise Weissmann, born in Schweinfurt in 1899, moved to Nuremberg during the First World War. Her first literary publications appeared in 1918 in the Fränkischer Kurier (also under the pseudonym M. Wels). She was the secretary of the Nuremberg Literary Association. Since 1919/20 employee of the publishing house Oskar Schloss in Munich. In June 1922 she married the Munich publisher Heinrich FS Bachmair, with whom she lived alternately in Pasing, Dresden and Munich. She died in 1929 of complications from severe angina.
